kMST 1.2318 Patch Analysis

This is a testing server right? So nothing's final right? Anyway here's my review/analysis/biased bs.

Pros:
- Exp to level reduced
- UI Upgrade = appeal to new audience
- Quickslot -> UI = potentially more useful
- Crit with all jobs (?)
- "Archers, thieves use professional skills not played melee attacks has been fixed. (?)" I'm assuming ranged can attack at close distance.
- Quest fixes
- PQ Levels Update (broken glasses for me :))
KPQ - 20~200
LPQ - 30~200
EFPQ - 40~200
OPQ - 50~200
PPQ - 60~200
MPQ - 70~200
ENPQ - 80~200
- PQs accessible through Mirror of Dimension (handy)
- "4. Quests and combat all the parties, the competition has been applied to rank content. (?)" Possibly means additions to the ranking system
- See monsters in mini-map
- Appearance of monsters changed
- World Map upgrade (hopefully new places mapped)
- Terrain fixes

Cons:
- Ariant PQ removed
- Temporarily cannot enter dungeons.

Neutral/Good+Bad:
- Mastery SP changed
- Monster Book gone
- Damage/Defense Formula changes
- PQ reqs updated
- Level of monsters changed

- Hp and mp gains have been modified to make up for the deleted skills
- Weapon skills that were originally separated are now integrated, such as mastery, booster, charge, weapon skills, and final attack without weapon restriction.
Like it or not, this is balance. It's a pro for the game itself, not necessarily for each individual player. Annoying as it may be, I don't think there's much anyone can do to change it. I noticed most of the conjecture is of Magician changes. I'd complain if I was a Magician, but I'd also keep in mind that none of this is final.

- I sort of want to see what Nexon's take on lukless/strless/dexless will be after the patch. It seems like a complete overhaul of the previous system and it seems they would do something about it.
- Will UI be affected only in main gameplay? What about MTS/CS UI? World Maps in other locations?
- Actual damage formulas?
- How will new skills replace old skills?
- Will prices go haywire?
- Broken Glasses? Will there be more giant dead whales inside wormholes?
- Quest updates I'm excited for. I really want them to implement the Quest system better. It's hard to figure out what quests to do and what not to do and it's all cluttered.
